I made this up in honor of Trgve and NIk when I got the new RV storage put up, a few years back.

oh no kidding those Dell monitors. :D
Our Hot deals forum had a Dell P4 Northwood PC including a 15" LCD. I swapped CPUs since the Dell were better overclockers than the retail boxed I had. Then sold the PC for what I paid for the setup. Letting me keep the better CPU and LCD. :D

First time I visited AT I was looking to decide if it was worth springing for some "exotic" 133 mhz SDRAM over 100 mhz and fortunately I stumbled on Anand's review. (it wasn't worth the upgrade lol)

I started out "posting" in the comments section of the main website (lol) and signed up for the forums shortly afterwards but then I didn't post much for a while and my original account got borked. (or I spaced the password and fvcked it up myself!)

:tearsofjoy:
I think I was on some coupon forums, and a user had posted about this place and how mean the people were. I had to go see for myself. Lol The rest, as they say, is history. 😊

Ahh, the days of "engineered deals"... PM plus coupon, go home, fill out MIR on web site. Ahhh, bliss!

(Getting paid to take home Staples' paper deals!)

Do you remember More.com? They actually gave us a $20 credit every time we got a friend to sign up! Mothernature. com Vitamins .com …lol, UPS could have opened an office at my house 😂

Ah, the good old days. Sounds like Freeride and Mypoints. They both gave out points for doing things like signing up at new websites, that you could turn into gift cards.
Got free vitamins from mothernature and points at freeride at the same time.
I signed up for so many new accounts back then before the .com bubble burst. I was leary of giving out my full name, so just gave my first initial. To this day my amazon account still says: Hello, g!

I remember Compuwiz selling tons of guaranteed overclockable Celeron 366's. Those were the days
