I wonder if that guy is still making movies.
Humm who knows, the website is a bit dated.

The film he directs is in post prod.

There was some kind of accident, he ended up in the hospital, there was a court case over who would make decisions for him, and I don't know what happened after that.

I think she had a tennis shoe icon or something like that if I remember correctly, some of her posts were pretty funny. One of the few women members at that time.

I was thinking of the original old guy, Harvey. Last seen in 2018.
I am 99.9% certain Harvey passed away. I always liked the cut of his jib.

There are many no longer here, that when they made their exit, either willingly or unwillingly, my reaction was -

I figured as much. He was a piano bar guy and had a song " who's watching who's watching you" that he shared with me a long time ago. gonna say RIP to you Harvey, right here.

BTW, if you have been here 20yrs, you are a very old timer. At that point almost half of Americans were not on the internet yet. An old article claims only 40 percent of Europeans even had internet access in 2001.

I lurked before that. I found this site because a mainboard I bought had a recommendation from Anandtech right on the box.

Ah! Those were definitely the days...!

I lurked for nearly two years in the Hot Deals forum before joining. Remember @HawkeyeNJ ? Some say he died on 9/11.

He didn't.

IIRC he held a patent and a copyright. There were some serious folks here BITD. Eaglekeeper literally flew F15s. Nik literally got owned by more people than Playstation 2. :p

Alky was the inspiration for Dunning-Kreuger :p I know he still reads here, he can't quit us. Evidently he was wondering why people are still butt hurt. No one is butt hurt Alky, we all just think you were in full fucking clown mode long before the putting on clown makeup meme became a thing.
