I'm disqualified from the Air Force

It shows on my medical record (I had to see a psychologist once) that I have used x, coke, other stuff. That was a while back, but the guy says that I'm still disqualified. Now I have no job (I have been looking for about a week now without any luck), no way to pay for college, parents on the brink of cutting me off (they have twice already, but always let me come back), and I dunno what to do with myself.

My life has really gone down the sh!tter in the last 2 months or so.. :(

Oh I have no one to blame but myself. Still sucks though since I am trying to get my life somewhat back together.

There are always jobs. Have you tried restaurants or UPS? That's how my dad paid for his college tuition as a new immigrant with no support at all.

Need a Good Job and have no money...get an apprenticeship in Carpentry,Electrician or plumbing. They will pay you to work and also for your schooling and in 4 years time you will make 20-30/hr depending on where you live.

Try the Army or another service? The Air Force is known to have more selective standards than the other services.

you wouldn't test positive for it now, so why say you did it in the past?

Restaurant works sux for the most part...paid like shat and also treated worse then a Hatian refugee.

UPS good place to work but VERY hard to get in.

I couldn't lie about it. I'm not about to go getting myself into any legal trouble (something I have thankfully managed to avoid these past few years) because I signed my name saying I've never done it. It is in my medical records, something this guy is gonna dig up anyways.

No it isn't they are always hiring handlers. It's a PITA to get a driver's position, though.

I think I am going to try out civilian life as long as I can, then use the Navy perhaps as a last resort. I'm a junior in college (or was), so I think I am going to find a job and maybe take out some loans and try and finish up. Problem is I've switched majors enough that even though I am a junior I have a good 2 - 3 years left before I would graduate with anything.

True, but if you are worried about numbers as opposed to what you can get 'right now', you can't be picky. The good news is that if you get something better, nobody contacts restaurants to find out you left without a two week's notice. ;)

Ausm has an excellent idea. They also could care less if you're doing x, coke and other stuff as long as you aren't stoned at work.
I'm pretty sure it's mandatory that you smoke dope if you want to be a Carpenter.

Would I need an associates from a community college first, or would they just take me in as is even though I don't know anything about carpentry or wiring?

I think most carpenters and electricians would be happy that you speak english and have a high school diploma.

Yeah, those drugs stop you from getting a good job.

You have to set your sights a little lower now, and look for a job that doesn't care if you've done drugs in the past or not. I recommend the President of the United States of America.
