i'm bored and curious

this very subject is debated even today. We're not entirely sure how they (egyptions) 'made' the pyramids. That's why they are one of the 7 wonders of the world. There are plenty of theories... and everyone of them contain huge amounts of time and man power at the center if you couldn't have guessed 😛
 
slave labor + most skilled architects and engineers of the time = greatest structural achievements of the ancient world.
 
Good thing you asked ATOT where there are people who know the answer to a question that's stumped historians and scientists for thousands of years.
 
One theory says they raised the blocks by building a spiral ramp around the pyramid as they built it up.

Yeah, and they used giant rollers and boats to move the stone around.
 
I think from our perspective we tend to think ancient people are a lot less capable and ingenious then they often were. They were masters of what they had, and we rarely even have a complete picture of what that consists of. There have been discoveries of inventions that were created and then forgotten for thousands of years. We still don't know how greek fire was made. I think, given the resources and power egypt had at that time they did it on their own using slave labor...without the help of aliens.

i wanted to know what the people of ATOT thought. if i wanted to ask a scientists i would have asked a scientists.

I saw a show where they explored that question and the conclusion (based on research and recent findings) is that between 20 and 40k egyptians (not 100k slaves) worked on them for 20+ years. They most likely used a simple ramp for the lower parts of the pyramid (which would take care of 2/3rds of the work) and a winding ramp to finish it off.

That seems the most credible to me as well. They are farmers who couldn't farm for much of the year. What else do you do without an XBox for entertainment? Of course, be patriotic and spend a bit of time building the pyramid.

Wrong. The question you asked was "how did they build the pyramids". You are asking for a factual answer. *THE* answer, not an opinion.
