j/k I'd make sure they don't have big bad friends before you do anything you'd regret (ie snitch). Hate to find out they were indebted or working for someone else lest they hurt you.
If you are worried about them and still want them gone (understandable) then perhaps say the electricity company called investigating high consumption or a million other things. Hippies usually aren't dangerous, but that much? I'd not go so easily to the police. People generally don't like having to go to prison.

Your parents are the owners? If so they have NO liability right now if they call the cops. However since you, part of the family are aware now, then they might have some liability if the police are not called.
Call your parents and call the cops (or let them call), let the cops clear the sh!t out, and get your parents off the hook.
This is a no-brainer, unless you want to let your parents get dragged thru a helluva lot of legal sh!t.
/edit: there might be an issue of legality about going into the rental property without their permission. perhaps you could say you smelled something and were concerned. and if you try for something from the renters, they most likely will leave and fvck the place up on the way out.

Unfortunately that's the situation. As soon as you became aware of what your tenants were doing your parents property became at risk for forfieture. You should definately tell your parents and let them decide. Posting this on the Internet wasn't to wise.
Also don't even think of trying to blackmail those tenants. We're talking about big money here and you could be putting your life at risk.

Yeah his advice is about as stupid as it gets. A lot of the Pot distribution is handled by unsavory characters, especially when it starts getting into significant money. The Hippie that sells you your pot isn't the person involved with the money. In some places Outlaw MC's are responsible for the distribution and you don't want to mess with them or you might end up missing.
