What's wrong with G.Skill? I used it in my build like 2 years ago and didn't have any problems. Wondering if I should be more wary of them.

He quoted it and joked because I didn't line up some munchkin RAM, not because there's anything wrong with G.Skill.
How much are you asking for your, now infected parts?Originally posted by: sonnygdude
"non-SLI certified G.Skill RAM" - gah - I wish you would have told me about that earlier. Now I have to throw away my 8GB of G.Skill, and I should probably throw away my entire rig too, I'm sure it's been contaminated by that lousy memory

Jebus I didn't get the joke no need to go on a rant : ( I hardly ever run benchmarks, and never really cared what the results were.

Don't feel betrayed, just look at it as an educational expense. :laugh:Originally posted by: sonnygdude
I figured the G.Skill was a good substitute for "performance gaming RAM" because it had a pretty blue box with a sticker, obviously higher performance. Now I just feel betrayed. If it's not SLI-certified it just can't perform as well, right?
