but you know those people who get sex change operations? i dunno, i have never known one, so maybe i'm just ignorant, but i think they're crazy... like they need to get psychiatric help type crazy. i don't know why these operations are even allowed... i mean what type of doctor would be that un-ethical?
 
why? who cares! i seen this one, and he got the sex change, but still went out with women, lol kickass. turn into a lady then be a lesbian!!

yea i heard that's pretty common... hehe...

well i don't care per se, it's not like it bothers me, but i just find it weird that this is considered a legitimate procedure... i mean, if i asked a doctor to amputate a perfectly good leg, i doubt an ethical one would do it...
 
I am with you gopunk, there has to be something wrong there. I love women, but there is no way I would want to be one!! I imagine women (or at least most of them) feel the same way, it is just those few men/women who must be insane to want to..well...switch

well, i guess a few of them may be chemically imbalanced or something... but i think a lot of them are just screwy.
 
The best explanation I've read is that homosexual tendencies are a result of rebirth (if you believe in that sort of thing). The switching from male to female bodies, and vice versa, will cause this.

I don't buy that, though I have to admit I don't have any better explanation besides insanity. You just have to be wierd to want to remove... um... the guys

i have a feeling i don't believe this, but could you elaborate? the switching will cause homosexual tendencies? homosexual in what direction? like a former male will like males, or a former male will like women?

yea... the largest problem with that theory is the assumption that you have past lives, imho.
 
yah gopunk, the whole past life thing definitly does not go along with my religion (Christianity) I still do wonder what would make people do that. We need to get one of them in here and ask them 🙂

if we can be born with our brains on the outside of our skulls(fatal of course), and that genders don't differenciate until late into the developement process, cross wired genders not that hard to believe😛

Why not just presume every social deviant is innocent because they were born that way?


We don't need laws... We don't need social norms........ nothing is our fault anyway ....right?

Agree. This isn't what my church preaches of course but who knows what its like to drop a chromosome on the way out of the womb or something, unless your that person. Some people tho have some very whack childhoods (at no fault of their own) and I have no doubt that this can seriously screw up a persons issues with sexuality tho.
 
spent 2 years in the Philippines and their society fully accepts that situation. The individuals are called "baccala" (sp?) and basically are expected/allowed to live as women; using women's bathrooms, wearing dresses, ect.. Considering the rural areas were extremely protective of their women and the "honor" issue, the baccalas could sleep with other girls and no one even thought something might happen.

It was funny to watch them practicing how to walk, talk, sit, dress, put on make-up, eat, ect.. They would get together and critique each other. Laughed at another Peace Corps Volunteer when he had been dancing and it was only after some of the villagers started laughing, was he told that the girl he had just slow danced with, was a baccala. But his dancing partner was ecstatic that she/he had been able to dance with the white skin 😀

If they aren't hurting you or anyone else, why do you feel the need to force them into this "social norm?"

And I'll bet you deviate from this "norm" in one way or another.

If someone is naturally "abnormal" we have two choices. We can marginalize them, or accept them. If they present no danger to anyone, why punish them for something they haven't done?

I mean, couldn't we apply this to all birth defects too? Are people born without arms or legs worthy of our scorn simply because they're not "normal?"

The law is there to punish those who cause harm. Not to fullful your hitleresque notions of "social norms." If people aren't hurting you, grow up and leave them the f'ck alone.
