wow, 14 is pretty damn wrong. i couple of my friends were working from the age of 14, it was in a daycare sort of thing

hrm, iirc most typical places for teens to work require you to be 16 (fast food, retail). Might want to see if your parents or any of their friends, or any relatives need any kind of yard work done or something?

edit: But either way finding a job at 14 is going to be really hard. Most places have a rule that you have to be 16.

and to correct you, you do not "NEED" and FX-53 and X800, you "WANT" it,

your on a computer right now, whats wrong with it? and for the price of the FX-53 alone you could build almost 2 computers that are only a tad slower

If you are under 16 you need working papers to get a legal job. It's basically a prental permission slip...

my first job was working for my aunt at her company. ask around to see if family members with businesses need any paying help.

otherwise, to the mall you go! most ask that you be 16 though.

you can otherwise do odd jobs, mow lawns, clean gutters, paint, etc etc. cash. tax free!

I started working when i was around 13. Trust me i hated it. i would have rather been out playing with friends then washing cars.

But i do have to say its good that you are looking to get the money yourself instead of b!tching about how mean your parents are for not buying it. Good luck!~
