Classy, stop it, you are scaring me. You are making reasonable arguments in a gun thread.
They aren't trying to make a public an inventory of every gun one owns, just the names of gun owners. No one will know if you have a cache of quality firearms or a half-rusted shotgun from such a list.

It doesn't matter. Legally owned private property in a private residence is nobody's business at all. Especially the governments. You agree with it because you like to see gun owners villified. You HATE guns.
Guess my N.R.A. and Gadsden stickers already mark me.
Whoa, classy and nick in agreement? Clearly the government is doing something wrong. :awe:

Next thing you know I'll be gored by a unicorn when I go outside.
I don't have a problem with such information being made available for a specific purpose - i.e. assisting with a Law Enforcement or official background investigation, or the like. But I have a serious problem with a (news organization, in this case) gaining access to the total listing as part of some fishing trip...
"I don't hate guns, I own a gun" in 3 ...2 ...1 ...
Thankfully, we live in the pro gun south.:thumbsup:Ya I have the problem as well. NRA, Glock, and Molon Labe sticker on my car.
Would you want them to make public the names of people who go to church? Who own a sex toy? Who make over $100k a year? Who are on welfare? Do drugs? It's a privacy thing, no one has a need to know what I own.
Holy shit! You have some serious personal issues...seek help. There is nothing more that our small dicked right wing nuts would love then to fire round after round into a under educated black man with a large penis.
As government property, you're allowed these privileges. It's their right to pick and choose what is in their interests to inventory. :whiste:

Really? Is that the problem? You all think progressives and liberals want to enslave everyone and make them the property of the government?
lol ok paranoia is a bitch.
