I may be crazy but, bat shit crazy is reserved for lawyers and similar bottom feeders.

No, I'd say that anyone who thinks they know more than lawyers or what the original framers or the politicians who created a constitutional amendment, without any factual data behind their claims is probably a really good candidate for being bat shit crazy.

But please show us how you are smarter and more qualified than a "bat shit crazy lawyer".

Because giving all the rights of an American citizen to anyone who finds themselves within our borders is ludicrous on the face of it

No, it's what great societies such as ours do that value decency and respect over tribalism and authoritarianism.

It should be the venue where non US citizens bring suit against American citizens regardless of where they are physically located.

That is insane. The US makes laws that apply within the US no matter who brings them. We exert sovereignty over territory, not over people.

I agree with you. Once in America our laws apply. That is why Guantanamo Bay was setup as a prison.

So what do you advise we do about waves of immigrants who disregard our sovereignty simply by crossing a border?

Similarly, I am sure there are many people the world over who would love to enter America and join our great society, yet for most, an ocean prevents them from doing so, and the strict allocation of visas and bureaucratic and financial hurdles of attaining citizenship serve as deterrents as well.

Why do folks blame the illegal alien instead of the lawyers who took the case?

Low status probably indigenous looking mexican on one side.

Not so much on the other.

Which one does the white nationalist crowd blame? Mystery solved. Apply same thinking to the illegals vs people who hire illegals blame-casting dilemma.

I think I've lost track of how many claims you've made about me that were comically false. Hell, even after you admit they are false you go back to saying them a few days later.

I guess that's why you're a fundamentally dishonest person. ;)
Yeah . . . When I admitted that you and Hillary have the conservative position, that was an example of sarcasm. But other than that, virtually everyone here considers the guy who calls chartering airliners to import more illegals "prosecutorial discretion" to be the absolute moral authority on honesty.

If you take this post to someone smarter than yourself (meaning anyone selected at random), he or she can explain sarcasm.

Ah good old dishonest werepossum.

Your bullshit was already debunked at least once and like always you decided to repeat your bullshit.

Btw, the links you used to counter the facts, cited dailycaller, lol.

But hey its not like facts ever matter to you. You'll lay low for a month or two before popping up spewing your debunked bullshit again.

Get Visa. Come to US. Visa expires. Don't go home. Now you're an illegal alien.

A wall would reduce the number, but certainly won't come remotely close to stopping illegal immigrants.
Got it. Grant Visa. Obtain extensive identifying information of person obtaining Visa. Upon not going home make it so person has little room to maneuver in society. Find person. Fine person. Send person home. Penalize states that provide mechanisms that allow such people to function in society.

The solution is simple; we live in an age of technology. Anyone entering the US, as a visa bearing tourist, shall submit to wearing a tracking device. While that might not go well with your beach attire, frankly, my dear, I don't give a shit. You try and stay beyond your allocated time, you will be tracked, charged with a crime, fined, sentenced and deported, upon your release. That'll about cover the fly ins.

Can you provide commentary on why the current system is not doing a good job of deporting illegal aliens?

And can you comment on the quality of due process for immigration cases?

Personally I have a lot of ambivalence toward whether it benefits the country to deport more illegal aliens, but I wouldn't begrudge anyone in the position that we should. However, I do know that our current system is horrifying. Regardless of whether you are on the camp of more deportation or less, I think the most prudent actions would be a deeper dive into our processes.

Yes I'm sure that will lead to a booming tourism industry, haha.

People coming to the US is a GOOD THING, not something to be afraid of.

LOL, how about a tamperproof collar that will explode if they try to tamper with it or their visa expires? I'm sure your idea would have no impact on the tourist industry. Why do you hate jobs so much?

The fact that we have major cities actively pushing policies to encourage people to violate federal law and enter the country illegally shows just how far down this rabbit hole of insanity we've come. I hope Trump starts punishing those cities by removing all federal funding whenever possible.

Hilarious that it's the expensive ass liberal cities that act as if they are all-inviting. How else are they going to fill those McDonalds drivethru employee's when locals demand $15/hour? Let's encourage illegals so we can get some cheap ass labor in expensive areas. Makes sense....

The current process is not working because we have not found adequate deterrents, we have millions coming in and a paltry thousands being deported. The math speaks for itself.

I am all for improving the process as I know it is incredibly bureaucratic and difficult to navigate.

I also believe that as it relates to our southern border, those crossing it have no interest in engaging that process no matter how efficient we make it because the status quo is a cake and eat it too scenario.
