IMO this mostly applies to Macbook people. I know a ton of folks with iPods and iPhones who just use them. However, most of the people I know with Macbooks always talk about how much they like it and how its better than windows because it "just works." :barf;

disclaimer: the only Apple product I own is an iPod

Macs are quality computers with a quality operating system, and the engineers have impressive ideas (see Magsafe). It's just the management (don't get me started on iTunes for Vista) and fan club (topic of this thread) that I can't stand.

I used to hate apple as well but then my mp3 player died and I bought one of the new nanos and love it. I like macs for their design though, OSX can go f*** itself. The day that I can get a mac w/o osX and a right click is the day I buy one.

It's possible that it's photoshopped, but considering that every single student has a laptop in class, I'm guessing it's a school that issues laptops and requires you to bring them to class. Thus they'd all be the same type of laptop, so either all of them are Macbooks or none of them are Macbooks.
