To the OP's credit, he did mention "If you are comfortable with it...".

But just like any other thread, this has turned out to be totally off topic

Let's see I'm in high school, have no job, live with my parents, all I own is my computer, so my net worth would be about $400.

its gotta be negative. Why? a lot of student debt....I know the monetary value - but I don't feel like its necessary to state it ;) either way - like many other guys here...totally sucks

IMO I think the OP was potentially trying to show off that he was making 50K a year and only 20 years old. Not bad considering I lose money each year due to education ;)

His link shows his net worth (about $10K). His age, salary, etc. are relevant in this context - at the age of 20, a $10K net worth is fine. If he were 50, he'd be getting blasted :).

Well, I just took out a $30,000 loan for a car, combined with my $18,000 left in student loans. Even factoring in my savings and retirement, i'm still at least $10,000 in the red.

Bad idea, not only will you do federal time but the payoff is crap. Go with a high volume grocery store, hit them up on Sunday evening and you will clear 250K +.

Graduated from school 8 months ago and have been working for 6 months or so. Since I had to pay for school myself, I am worth approximately piddly crap ;)

Have savings now but come mid-January I won't... I'll have a new toy... living paycheck to paycheck for a bit... the best & most enjoyable way to live.
