If you ran 10km a day you could eat whatever you want, I'd rather be able to run the 10km and eat whatever I want.

Imagine what you'd look like if you ran 10km a day and didn't have a shit diet. Like I said, running is good, but diet is vastly more important.

fucking WRONG, running will cure the worlds obesity. sounds like you know jack shit about running and the human body.
I run nearly every day. It's part of my job requirement.

However, I'm not foolish enough to think that will keep me fit.

I'm not sure you quite understand me. Are you trying to suggest that average cardio is enough to keep everything physically fit if they stuff their face with shit all day? Obviously this is barring athletes as they sustain a higher level of training.

im very superficial, so yes.

although the chances of an asian getting fat after marriage are very low compared to white people.

This is why people are fat. Running won't cure the worlds obesity problem.

Eat less, lift more.

Whatever. You ever seen a fat runner? I don't think so. Get in zone 4 on HRM 1 hour a day and I guarantee you can eat whatever you want and look good.

Most people who keep active by running also tend to follow a healthy lifestyle.

I can refute by just asking if you've ever seen a fat person who consistently (CONSISTENTLY) eat in moderation and eats clean (proper portions of healthy foods)? Unlikely.

Also, being in the military, I'm exposed to all sorts of people of varying fitness. And I do know a huge demographic who are overweight but run about three times a week.

How long what heart rate? That's all that matters. I go to track and seen the same fat house wives with their water bottles with their girlfriends for years thinking they are doing something, their not. Might as well stay at home.

Again run 1 hour a day in zone 4 on HRM EVERYDAY and you can eat whatever you want. If it's too crappy you'll leave it on the track next day as a reminder to take in goodness.

One hour of cardio a day for seven days a week will result in muscle loss. Sure, you'll lose weight, but it's not all fat. These people don't run every day (though there is other cardio (circuit, sports) to fill the other two days of the week. I can't say what they do on the weekends.

But when they do run, they do so properly, as the standard speed for a military run.

LOL I see the problem.

I run everyday. Still 245. When I wresled in HS I was 245 (3 hours of drills on a mat is about 20x more aerobic than running). When I didnt run I went to 320.

Quote me where I said running wouldn't help. You can't, because I never said that. I said eating clean is more effective than just doing cardio. Of course you'll lose weight running, I never implied otherwise.

But keep skipping over my points to justify your argument; it only serves to make you look foolish.

Also, you may be losing WEIGHT, but until we start getting into BF, your argument isn't really going anywhere. I can drop 10lbs easy by shedding muscle, but that is, in itself, a stupid idea.

Would I immediately divorce my husband if he got fat? No. I would try to open his eyes to the situation the best I could, in hopes things will improve. If he were to not heed my words, and it starts to affect the relationship, it may or may not fall apart on its own. I wont put up with someone who does not care for his well being, or listen to his partner.

I wouldn't allow that for my wife. (I weigh <125lbs and want to be 170lbs) :\

Start drinking 1/2 gallon of whole milk a day (you can drastically cut the amount of water you consume), suck it up, and start lifting. Increase to 1 whole gallon as soon as you can physically consume that much.

I don't have the stomach for it. I've went over this before. I have some kind of stomach problem that others don't have apparently. I get really sick from overeating.

That's why you work your way up. Start with 1/3 or 1/2 then.

You're way off - people gain A LOT of leg muscles running. If you're fat, your calves will look like Arnolds in about 3 months moving that lard around (HRM zone 4 1 hour 6 days a week).

This is why you have to keep eating.

I burn 2 big mac in an hour not to mention more muscle which take more energy to support the other 23 hours.
