If your girlfriend lived 1.5 hours away

Hmmm, well I guess I'd visit her maybe every two weeks or month and I'd be there for like 3 days or something like that.. Dunno.. you say 1.5hours away, is that both ways?

Once a week. Or we could split it and she could visit me once a week and I visit her once a week. If that makes any fvcking sense.

if it was a permanant thing, i would probably break things off. if it's only for a few months, i'd try to stick it out.

after being in an LD relationship, and seeing my SO once every 3 weeks, feelings really wore off and I would say that was the downfall of our relationship. she was away in college for 2 years and it's what pretty much made me lose feelings.

It depends. If we had been together for a while and we ended up moving away like that I'd probably try to see her 2-3 weekends out of the month, as long as it was a temporary thing.

If not, I'd find another girlfriend, or have the LD-one + one nearby...something like that.

(And yes, I would expect her to do the same) 😛

That and her probably getting interested in other dudes had something to do with it as well....it's college man... 😀

1.5 hour drive a long distance relationship? Wow..

There are people that drive 1.5 hours, one way, to work each and every work day.

[raises hand]

Work is different though. You're married to that one. 😉

My at the time girlfriend lived about 5 hours from me for a year. We saw each other several times a month (one of us would typically make the drive each weekend). Now we're married and she technically lives about 1.5 hours from me. I see her every weekend (I typically drive down to see her).
