If your girlfriend lived 1.5 hours away

i visit mine every week or every other week. She lives 1.5 hours away from me too. Although, if either of us are busy with school, I might not see her for a month.

For one semester me and my GF were about 1.25 hours apart. I would visit her once or twice during the week, then every weekend.

My job is in the same town that I grew up in so I stay with my parents during the week (no rent) and drive down to our place on the weekends. My wife is in med school which requires her to be down there. I've been trying to get a job where we live for the past year but I haven't had any luck. It's not an ideal situation but I have a job and she's able to continue going to school so we're making it work.

I agree, I would love if my GF was only an hour and a half away. Mine is 3 hours away and I see her every weekend.

That's what I was thinking! My GF and I DO live 1.5 hours away from eachother. However, we both live in the Phoenix area. I don't consider it a "long distance relationship". And we see eachother almost daily. Maybe 5X a week.

For those who answered "once a week" or "on the weekends", how old are you? If you're high school or college age, I can see that. But if you're out of college and older, how can you see your GF only once a week? Besides, what girl would tolerate that?

This is about equal to my situation.

Edit: Actually it's about 1 hour 45 minutes. She usually takes a train to come see me. There's a lot more to do in my neighborhood, and I live alone so it just makes sense.
