I'd love to go back to the indiana timezone that never changed for DST, but they removed that now :(

dst is such a deprecated waste of time

I'd probably go with Pacific. Most of that side of the country can go to hell, but that gives you Alaska, Washington, and I presume Central, and South America. Otherwise I'd go with EST.

Lived in the PST all my life. While it'd be nice to be in EST (mainly thanks to the east coast bias with media/sports stuff) I'd rather live somewhere on the west coast.

No daylight savings time? Screw you guys - I enjoy an extra hour of daylight after getting out of work.

I HATE DST. If people want to more light, they should start work earlier. It screws up my internal clock for weeks after it engages.

I voted PST but was tempted by Hawaii just because my boss couldn't then expect me to take European support calls and I absolutely hate working with France.

Everything is URGENT even when their deadline is 4 weeks out. They can't put requirements together (however non-concise and rambling) in a single document. You build exactly what they ask and they will have a totally different set of requirements the next day. They will email a request at 5am Pacific and, if they don't hear a response, will send another email at 6am CCing your manager and saying EXTREMELY URGENT. They refuse to answer questions and phone calls but have no problem making them up the chain to the VP about the fact that you're not working fast enough.

But they're really nice... They just don't hold a candle to Gemany, Japan or China in regards to clear, concise requirements and taking direction calmly and intelligently.

Eastern. All TV is based around EST, and we all know the world begins on the eastern shores of the US of A.

UTC + 2

edit: stupid fucking anticaps filter.

For the rest of my life? Only if it's Finland. The rest of the Eastern European countries I'd love to visit but not live in the rest of my life probably. And as for eastern Africa, I'd like to visit only a few of those countries, some would be far too dangerous to even vacation in.

I'll take UTC + 12 thanks :)
