If i'm in the 'fast lane' doing 85 in a 65 and some asshat speeds up on me, i'll move for him so he can go on his merry way, hoping secretly a cop is nearby to bust him (this has happened on two seperate occasions i love it).
I try to let people merge, but i admit, if you're not signalling, i'm probally being an ass and not letting you merge until the last possible moment, though if you are signaling i'll give you sufficient space etcetc.

bad drivers are a dime a dozen, take it in stride and just go on with your day. I'm sure we've all felt like posting about how bad everyone else drives at one point or another..

This is totally my philosophy. Turn your blinker on and I will be more than happy to give you sufficient space to merge. Leave it off and try to speed up to sqeeze in and I will just as happily cut you off so you have to scramble in behind me.

It's pretty easy to tell when someone just forgot something/had a dumb moment or is being a aggressive moron. It's makes me happy to tick them off even more

Too many people cruise on the highway in the leftlane. Even if you are passsing and pass slowly and realise another vehcile coming up behind you you should be the one to pull over let him pass then resume what you were doing ealier. The problem is some people rarely check their rearview mirror and don't realise a vehicle rearing up upon them. I do a lot of passing on the right because of this.

But you're not a cop. It's not your place to enforce the laws. And 2 wrongs don't make a right. So get the fsck right. Because while you're sitting there breaking the law yourself by blocking the left lane with that pompous stick up your ass, you're creating dangerous congestion that causes accidents, making you FAR more dangerous than some driver who would like to do 10 over simply because our speed limits are kept artificially low.
