On my trip back from Houston while driving through Missouri I hit a bird at approximately 85mph. I stopped to see if it was still stuck on the front end of my car, but I knew there was no way in hell it survived. The speed at which I hit it caused the lower left corner of my license plate to bend at a 45 degree angle.Originally posted by: rudeguy
do you stop to see what it was, and if you killed it?

A better question would be:
If some animal jumps out in front of your car on the highway, do you plow it over or try to swerve?
