Bye Bye TV.

Can't add a TV card? What if every PC I own, ever have owned, and ever will own has a TV tuner already? :) PBTV3/5, Hauppauge sends me Christmas cards, and ATI is my Daddy)

Without a doubt, I would get rid of my computer. I am probably the only one at these forums that would too. :)

The TV itself, or just the ability to watch television channels? Cuz, I'd miss my movies. I guess I could watch them on my PC Monitor, but, that wouldn't be the same. Still, I'd toss the TV First.

I think a better question would be:

What would you drop first, your connection to the net or your connection to cable/broadcast TV. I'd still get rid of TV. Computer w/o internet is almost useless to me.

What's a TV? Isn't that something cavemen used to use to entertain themselves between Mastodon hunts?

<< The only thing wrong with the computer is that it's not exactly a group activity.. you can't gather your family around a computer and watch a movie. >>

90% of all my TV watching is done on my computer while I'm surfing. So, giving up my TV wouldn't be any great hardship. In fact, just about the only time I watch my home theater setup is when I'm watching movies or sporting events.

I don't even own a tv, i just use my nice big monitor, ati AIW radeon and a cordless keyboard /mouse, for tv, dvd, games, music, and internet. what more does a man need? *edit* ok yeah a little poontang everynow and again *edit*

even if i had to forgo my tv card, I'd still take the computer/internet/dvd/online games for entertainment over the crap thats on TV nowadays.

Well since I've already got TV on my computer, I don't need to add it, so I'll give up my TV.
I should anyway I spend too much time on it, and the computer.

Edit: Forgot the DVD drive too

The TV would go. But -

This would be more difficult, I'd still stay with the PC though.

Ack, then I would really have to get a life;)
Damn that's a tough one, think I'd give up my digital cable before my Internet.
I can always watch movies.

Well, I never watch T.V., but I use it for viewing movies and playing my game consoles. I cannot really say.
