I have one of these in .45... cool gun!

If I had to do it again, I'd get a .40. The 8 shot magazines are a pain, and I can't seem to get high-cap mags in that caliber.

Get 9mm one, the beretta 92 version, if you get one again.

I have the beretta92 version 9mm Cx4, and I love it. Since it takes the beretta 92 mags instead of the PX4 or cougar mags, it is a lot easier to cheaply find spare mags for the thing.

Mine is a wonderful shooter -

If I were the OP I would still get a .308 battle rifle of some kind though, that is a big hole in the collection IMO. He could look at an AR10 or something, but all the cool kids go with an m1a/m14. Everyone knows this.

It's the gun I wanted to buy when I bought my 686+ due to having a slightly lower budget ..... the leftover cash would go towards a cheap 22 for the range.

Stopped by the gun shop this evening.

They have a sweet Kimber Eclipse 45 for just over $1k.
They (surprising to me) have an MSAR for just over $2k. Feels great.
They have an FS2000 for $2400
They didn't have a P90, but I think I might have changed my lust to the MSAR. ;)

They were really proud to have an FN SCAR 16s...apparently hard to come-by and run just over $2k, but I hated the way it felt.

Still not sure if I'll go with the Kimber or the MSAR...

The kimber eclipse is a fine handgun. I love mine in 10mm (a real mans caliber compared to the pussy .45 ;) )

Some kind of tactical shotgun for neutralizing zombies.

This.

So this will be full of gun people.

I live in upstate New York, and I know I don't need a permit to buy a rifle here.

However, do I need a NY state driver's license? I'm still using my Texas DL and have no burning desire to deal with changing it any time soon.

Anyone familiar with this process want to weigh in? (I'm thinking about buying a Garand (if I'm feeling spendy) or a Mosin-Nagant (if I'm not), just for recreational shooting).

It's a federal law that you must have a current ID, so you will either have to lie or they won't sell you a gun.

FN PS90.

I'm not a gun owner, but if I were to get a gun, I would get that.

I have the TM airsoft model, and it's pretty sweet.

lol. Only on AT.

Along with the tactical shotgun I would buy a Kimber. You have enough rifles, get another handgun.

Your going to need a NY ID to buy in NY or they are going to want to ship the gun to a FFL in TX for you to pick it up.
