"Inspired" by Tim Tebow's situation (kinda). He has 1 year left in college, and decided to stay for his senior year.

If I were him, I would have gone pro, since with the money he will make, he could go back to school anytime for that 1 year left. Plus, if he gets injured next year, he's going to be kicking himself in the ass.

So let's say you had 1 year left, would you go or stay?

FWIW: Tebow seems like a great guy. Oh and he has a SMOKIN' hot girlfriend

I swear this is deja vu. ATOT will later establish that the girl in the photo is not really his GF.

Go Pro. All NFLers are saying he won't increase his draft position by staying for another year since he won't be a QB in the pros.

It all depends on whether he could improve his draft stock if he stayed one more year. If Tebow can improve his pocket presence and passing efficiency, his draft stock could improve a lot. But the way Florida runs the option, probably not gonna happen

Tebow was a 3rd rounder at best so he should stay. Only go if you're pretty much locked as a 1st rounder

One knee injury and his pro career could be shot to hell. Sign the contract while you can, a lot of guys have looked like sure things as a junior in college and then dropped badly during their senior seasons.

In Tebow's case it's really odd. I can understand the desire to come back to clean up an unfulfilled dream of a National Championship or a Heisman Trophy. But he's got both already, there's not anything left to prove. There's a pretty big risk that comes with staying and not much of an upside.

Stay at Florida.

And come on, the "he'll be making enough money to go back to college whenev" idea is dumb. Who's gonna go from NFL back to college before they retire? and by then, then won't even really need college

Not to say that Tebow wouldn't do it, the smug little bastard...

yeah, i don't understand this decision. he's got as much of a chance at being a QB in the league as Pat White does, they'll both move to different positions.

not sure how you can improve on 1 heismann and 2 championships anyway.

.

Oh I dunno, maybe John DiGiorgio

What I meant by that is if they go to the NFL, get career ending injury. THEN one would go back to college.

oh hot damn

1) That girl is not the same as the girl in the first post.

2) Neither one is Tebow's girlfriend.

The first pic is some random Florida student that Tebow just happened to have his picture taken with, the second is Lucy Pinder. Tebow is not dating either one of them.

I agree with you 100%. I'd go pro and if I got injured, I can always finish the degree. I guess it also depends on how much money I would be getting. For anything over $2 million guaranteed, kiss college goodbye.

Not really. Now you know the name of the model in that picture, if you google it you can find even better shots.

Go pro if it makes economic sense to do so. Tebow isn't going to be a star in the NFL and he likely knows it. He might make a decent tight end, but he isn't going to gain anything by going pro early.
