I think a better Poll would be: How many people's Jobs require Internet Access?

I have an old myspace account, but I hate Myspace/facebook and don't log on. So I voted the last option.

If they don't want me using facebook at work, fine, but then forget me checking work email from home or staying late/weekends either.
Can't have it both ways.

Just having a myspace or facebook account should be grounds enough to be fired, or not even hired in the first place.

My last job didn't block Facebook or Myspace, but it did block Woot for some odd reason. I was probably saved some money by being unable to impulse buy some refurbished crap during a WootOff, though!

I wish that my new job would block Ikariam. That game is addictive for some strange reason, even though it gets rather boring during the latter part of the game where everything takes a day to build.

first of all you are a complete moron if you can't bypass your company's shitty filtering to get to the space or the book. secondly, if you are that dumb and still need the book/space and will quit your job you deserve to be shot

I have neither.

My work blocks all video game related sites and youtube. I survived. <shrug>

Now if they block ATOT, that is different....... ;)

Social networking sites? No. The AT forums? Maybe. Slashdot? In a heartbeat.

I DON'T HAVE MYSPACE OR FACEBOOK ACCOUNT!

And if I did I certainly wouldn't quit a job if they chose to block it.

With the job market in this area... I wouldn't quit any job... for any reason. lol

Heck... it took me 6 months to find another job after I got laid off last year.

Hm, if they did I could just remote access my home server and get on from there - though I only check Facebook every month or so anyway.

I think 39% is utter bullshit. There are plenty of 18-24 yr old sailors, soldiers, airmen, and marines that have access to facebook and myspace blocked - and none of them quit.

What if I have a BS account just to look at pictures that my friends occasionally send me?

Well, according to my very scientific poallages, the 39% that they're touting is complete bullshit as I only have one vote for quitting; there's truth in journalism for ya. And trust me, there are a lot of dumb people on ATOT and they wouldn't even quit :p
