I don't understand? Did you want to use the squat rack for curls too? It is known everyone skips leg days.

Funny... At my gym I can do curls where ever I chose and no one says a damn thing about it

Yeah cause you're a monster right? I don't say anything regardless of who it is but is there ANY reason/benefit to using the rack? Curls are the one thing you can do with like... literally any piece of equipment in the gym. Instead I see people waste a really important piece by curling a 45lb bar with freakin 10's on each side.

At my gym no one really squats and the rack is where our straight bars reside... There and on the flat bench. That is obviously in constant use. And yes also because people at my gym think I'm a monster.

I was very impressed when I went for a squat rack yesterday and there was a guy going to curl in it, we both got there at about the same time and he offered to curl elsewhere without me saying anything. I was pretty much floored when he offered. There are some decent gym goers out there after all.

I used to use the squat rack for curling and bent rows (same workout) back in the day but nobody would say shit because I could bench more than 85% of them. I'd only do it if it was crowded, otherwise did them out of the power rack to not be a douche. Kind of funny how the power rack was used even less than the squat rack at that gym.

I had two guys remove my weights when I went to get a drink and start curling the other day... I was pissed.

Depending on the racks, I usually prefer the power rack to a squat rack when doing squats; I feel less caged-in, especially if it's one of those angled squat racks. I'd much prefer just a standard squat stand to those weirdly-angled squat racks.

That being said, I personally wouldn't be nearly as initially irked by someone doing bent rows vs. just curls (with the caveat being that there are other places to do straight-bar curls) when it's crowded. If no one's using/waiting for anything, then I don't care one way or another.
