If you could would you get a gaming laptop or gaming PC?! Which one would you get if money was not an issue and think in reality in comparision to laptop drivers for the video card and other components and the pc drivers for the video and other components. Also state why one over the other?

Gaming laptops are not laptops, they are mobile furnaces that will run for 1-2 hours max on the largest battery you can buy for them.

I like a small ultra portable laptop, I don't need to play games.

Depends on your situation. I would want a gaming laptop because i'm in two different places throughout the week and so half the week i'm without a gaming PC. 🙁

i have a heavy gaming pc and a really light laptop, imo laptops should be as light and portable as possible, these gaming laptops with raid and 4 fans and sh!t are nearly 10lbs, i would never walk around with that thing

Nothing cause I got's no credit.

Seriously though, if your in the money then laptop.

If you need something for the long haul, a PC.

PC

Laptops don't have screens over 20", RAID-0, PhysX cards, watercooling, ultra high-end soundcards or 7.1 speakers. Since money isn't an issue, I can't include the fact that >1GB RAM and SLi are WAY more expensive for the laptops.

I'm not a big fan of laptops for "non-mobile" activities. they are just not as comfortable to use unless you are talking about trivial usage such as browsing/e-mail checking/casual word processing.

The overclocking and the multiple parts available for PCs make it a better choice if you wanted a dedicated system. If you were gaming, you would need 20" of screen space anyways and those are big to carry. You would also need SLI and those run hot. So a PC would be a better choice.
