The thread was should i get a gaming laptop or get a last-gen ultra portable laptop and a gaming desktop?

I'd take my 120 pound PC over a gaming laptop anyday. Laptops are made for portability, not gaming. Plus if I really wanted a LAN rig, I could take all of the left over PC parts laying around and put something thats half decent and pretty light :p

I had a gaming laptop but the thing died a while back. About 2 years of gaming on it burnt the graphics card out. So i built my own gaming comp.
