i'll have around 70k in student loans when i graduate with a bachelors. most people would say this is my biggest mistake, but I'll be making bank when I'm out, so I'm not worried about it. not to mention i've done more and will have a lot more on my diploma than any other person with a bachelors.

i suppose my biggest regret is getting into and staying in this long-term relationship. i trying to find a way to weasel out of it but can't figure it out. someone give some advice :p

Having a baby with my ex-wife. I don't regret getting married, it's the fact that the kid has to grow up in a split custody situation.

yea im wondering the circumstances and ages with which these people chose to marry.
when youre too young, not a good idea.

too many people get married on a whim.

this decision needs to be thought about much more thoroughly......

Selling my 30,000 shares of Apple in 2002 to buy a restaurant. I quickly discovered the restaurant business wasn't for me and sold the business a year later. I made some money from the restaurant but nothing like I would've made if I still had the Apple shares. I kept the small number of shares in my retirement account but let the big one get away. I made lot of dumb moves over the years but this top them all.

Getting an apartment with my ex-wife while I was still in college.

Don't move in with your girlfriend until after you've finished school!

I don't think we regret getting married - its who we got married to that is the problem. ;)

I'm happy to say I'm low on regrets. If I could take things back I think I would have probably handled my long-distance relationship with one of my exes differently. I really did love her, a lot, but I pushed her away and she pushed back by dumping my ass.

The good thing is that I've gotten to the point where I'm no longer certain that I would have changed things. I'm finally able to look back on our relationship nostalgically as a closed book, rather than with huge amounts of pain and regret. A couple months ago I would have said 100% without hesitation that allowing her to break up with me was my biggest regret. Now, I'm not so sure.

Well, there's one thing I definitely regret and that was both having a fling with this girl I met for a week several years ago and restarting that fling a couple years after the fact this past winter. The fling redux lasted all of one day and we both left feeling like shit. She's probably pretty angry at me but hey, maybe she won't try to get back in touch with me. And if she does, maybe I'll be smart enough to not take her up on it.

My regret right now is not working hard enough last year, very trivial, but it irks me. Another one would be taking the SAT much more seriously, but that's what this year is all about.

Sometimes I think back to a lady I knew many years (24 or so) ago, who would've loved me unconditionally.....but I wasn't ready to be a daddy to her son at the ripe age of 22 years old, and let her go. And yeah, I oftentimes think what a damn fool I was back then!! :brokenheart:
