How is that better then people caught on up Hussein? Not that you had any validity to begin with, but nobody is going to listen to someone as immature as you.

Well actually the first two are based on actions taken by the people

McSame => McCain decided to vote similiarly to Bush
Caribou Barbie => Palin decided to get into the beauty pagent and also profess she likes hunting.

Hussein is a play on something Obama had no choice in, being born to a Muslim father and being given that name.

So yeah quite the difference, however I think word play on names for presidential candidates is stupid no matter what the reason.

If people are changing their vote they voted without listening. They voted based on other reasons
For the pps who voted for him

Eh, I disagree with this. I think Obama has backed off some of what he said - there are more black and white examples, but one big one is appointing the 'corporatists' to the treasury department he has, in violation of the spirit of 'change'. But there's no question I'd vote the same, for him, given the choices - the good far outweighs the bad.

Just getting the FOIA restored is a huge win for our democracy, however underappreciated it is by the righties here for the public to have the information.

I voted for Obama, but I would now vote for a non-major party candidate. Not really against Obama, but more of seeking to keep one party from having absolute power.

Right way to do this: reform the system. Battle the Debate Commission that is run by the two parties; reform financing; but most importantly, push states to adopt a 'ranked vote' system that allows people to list their #2 and #3 choices as well, so that they can 'safely' vote for who they really want knowing that thier vote will still count if that candidate doesn't reach the top two, and watch third party votes skyrocket.

Wrong way: just vote third party now and 'throw away your vote' and let a Palin in.

can't vote.

I would have voted Obama. He's been underwhelming but he was still head over heels better, I am sure, than mccain and lipstick pig.

Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.:) Otherwise, I mostly agree though 'underwhelming' seems a bit harsh.

I would rather my vote go to somebody who has no chance than to someone I don't want in the White House. As for reform, I seem to recall you mocking the idealists who didn't believe in a two party system, so your suggestion is rather hypocritical.

That makes absolutely no sense.
Are you saying you didn't want Obama in the White House? If so, then why did you vote for him?
