Right way to do this: reform the system. Battle the Debate Commission that is run by the two parties; reform financing; but most importantly, push states to adopt a 'ranked vote' system that allows people to list their #2 and #3 choices as well, so that they can 'safely' vote for who they really want knowing that thier vote will still count if that candidate doesn't reach the top two, and watch third party votes skyrocket.
Wrong way: just vote third party now and 'throw away your vote' and let a Palin in.
