I am curious. Based on the polarizing viewpoints of the reviews of ME1 and 2, are you not concerned that playing them back to back won't taint your perceptions of either of the game relative to the other?

Plus ME3 is more or less an unknown quantity at this point. Depending on which way it goes (either more RPG like 1 or more ARPG like 2, or as has been suggested more FPS than either of the first two), it could drastically improve the experience as a whole or it could leave you really wishing that you had those hours of your life back to do differently with.

Why only new games? Do everyone really just play games from <3 months ago at any one time and then drop them? I'm genuinely curious. I played one game that came out in 2011 this year; portal 2. I'll probably still play Civ 4 in 2012..

Try as I might, i couldn't get into Bioshock 2. It wasn't any particular failing, it just didn't grab me.
