lol, now you got put and are just trolling.

Why would I want to live past 100 years after I've done and accomplished everything I wanted in this world/galaxy?

Well there are limitations. You can do everything that mankind can accomplish up until your death... but I don't think you'll be seeing much of the galaxy. Solar system maybe.

Well the ability to alter all aspects of all possible realities at all times would be handy.

Or to get that loaf of sourdough bread baked just right.

Good day. Be thankful I taught you to think better if we ever magically get granted 1 wish.

I've accomplished everything I've wanted and I'm still around.

Really short sighted if you think about it.

You get to live like what, 50 years until the jig is up? You look like 25 at 65, you'll be at the world's spot light. You NEVER want publicity with your superpowers.

Soon you are an outcast, never live life the way you want, or become a mediocre celebrity. In time you'll be begged to be (if not forced) used for medical research and end up as your govt's pet.

The beauty of life is to enjoy it as you age along with rest of your friends and family.

In most of the fiction I've read that included immortal or extremely long lived characters, the immortal guy would kill himself off every now and then and then reemerge pretending to be one of his own descendants. You could use makeup and hair dye to imitate an aging person to a certain extent, and make sure you "die" before you get to an age that would really draw attention to your unnatural youth. With all that time on your hands, and assuming that you're reasonably intelligent to start with, making enough money to be independently wealthy wouldn't be a problem.

It seems entirely doable to me. You have to remember that even though you will stay the same person, everyone else will be dying around you. Even if they suspect something is up, they'd end up taking their suspicions to the grave, leaving you with a whole new class of suckers to buy your story.

Hell you could go through an entire lifetime where you got captured by the government and was forced to take part in secret supersoldier experimentation, all the while you were waiting patiently for your chance to escape. Once you get away you could lay low until everyone with first hand experience of you died and then resume your former activities as though nothing happened. You might even have chosen to do all that just to break up the monotony of eternity. Forever is a really long time, and having one continuous consciousness and memory while all the others around you are constantly expiring is a huge advantage.

The power to grant other people superpowers. Then all people will beg me for granting them superpowers and I will tell them all to go fuck themselves.

The only reason omnipotence would be stronger would be because you do not need 'starting energy', you could create it out of thin air. For the rest it's pretty much as powerful considering you can basically create planets to store all knowledge in, create physical copies of you in case they found a way to destroy your state of being, and you can warp space and time.

Eh, I consider omnipotence to be more of a cop-out than anything. It's like saying, "I have zero imagination to come up with something that has actual bounds, so to quote Freddy Mercury, 'I want it all, and I want it now!'" Most would probably associate controlling energy with a comic book character like Electro, but that's just being short-sighted! :p

Years ago, I created a RP character with similar abilities. He could do stuff like levitate/fly by controlling the air molecules around him, create weapons out of thin air by modifying the elements around him (including just air), or just "super-heating" the air and creating plasma. The only problem is that if you're trying to at least keep with some resemblance of the laws of physics, it takes an enormous amount of energy to do things like that! It's also really easy for some super-nerd to comment about how you actually just killed yourself based on the laws of physics. :p

That's when I come out with my best Stallone impression, "I AM THE LAAAHW!"

With modern technology that'll soon be impossible. If it isn't already.

You'd be found and locked in a cell. Because humans are evil animals who harm that which is different.

If I was immortal I would simply jump off the sears tower. Then I would say "God" saved me and I was the chosen one. I would challenge all non-believers and urge my followers to throw off the oppressive reigns of government. I would then rule the world as the new Messiah.

Please are gullible.

That said, I wouldn't want that power.

Your immortality had better come with super memory as well. Our memories are finite, an otherwise normal immortal would forget everything about their first few lifetimes by the time they reached the end of their first millennium. It would be like having an infinite source of water flowing into a normal cup.

I can't think of one problem that super strength wouldn't be able to fix.

Gills.

I would be fish man. Aquaman's cousin.

Aquaman is the strongest super hero.

Telekinesis would be nice.

I'd have that, the ability to read minds, or regeneration similar to Wolverine.

It would be easy enough to make money as a gambler with the first two, and the second I could just be a professional fighter.

Definitely telekinesis on the sub atomic level for example manipulating virtual particles.
I would be able to fly.
I would be able to transmutate elements.
I would be able to create shielding.
I would be able to create matter and control it.
I would be able to manipulate gravity.
And with enough control, i would be able to live beyond my mortal existence.
I would rejuvenate myself up from the atomic scale.
No air, create a bubble of air.
Dangerous EM radiation, catch it and control it.
Sigh...

Yeah. After further thinking the thing to do is to head to some 3rd World Country and find the local militia leader and challenge him to a machete fight. Let him say cut off your arm. They when he stares in astonishment after your arm regrows pick up your old arm and beat him to death with it.

God Emperor Nehalem256 of Africa has a nice ring to it.

And trust me as God Emperor I will get at least as many babes as Zeze is getting with his mind control powers. And unlike him I wont have to worry about the AIDS.

Either the ability to read people's minds or to be fluent (read, write and speak) in all past and present (and future?) human and animal languages.

I could solve a lot of the world's problems and make tons of money, all at the same time.
