If You Could Have Any Vehicle In The World

I would like a cargo van, mainly so I could put a mattress in the back and have a bed on wheels so I could travel and always have a place to sleep.

My apartment doesn't allow RVs in the parking lot, also I think a RV is a little hard to park in the street do to its size. And I think riding a RV is very unprofessional, it makes you look homeless.

I would "like" for the cargo van to be electric, but the parking lot in my apartment doesn't have a electric vehicle charging station, so I need a gas powered cargo van.

I have a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter toy I got on Amazon, for that reason I would like this particular van.

I would also like a electric ATV(I don't like the sound of loud engines), unfortunately it's illegal to drive a ATV in the street in California. But I think it'll be cool to attach a tablet to the electric ATV and drive around talking to people through the tablet like a robot. Kind of like the video below:

A EMP proof vehicle that follows Gismo J around and smack him in the head whenever he has an idiotic idea.

Living in a cargo van does scream homeless you nincompoop. And MB just rebadges Dodge Sprinters.

If I could have any vehicle in the world it would be the truck I have right now. It fit's me perfectly, it has everything I need and nothing I don't.

Wow, I could think about this for weeks, and still end up with the wrong answer. Willys wagon? 21 window deluxe microbus? F150 Lightning? Unimog? I'd have to see a catalog.

When she retired, my sister tried the van lifestyle thing with a cargo van she outfitted for living. She quickly discovered that she could live cheaper by booking cruise deals. Living on a cruise ship is cheaper than living in a van. :p

Note: she is an absolute machine at finding cheap cruises. Personally, I think I'd rather live sleeping under a van than on a cruise ship.

It's like anything. You can do it the cheap way or expensive way. I could live in a van pretty cheaply. Might even be able to arrange doing it free. Pay for necessities doing treework, which I find fun anyway.

Yet refined.
It's actually an interesting idea. You'd have to ignore tons of rules/hassles, but traveling around on a train would be cool. Keep an Ebike on board to see localities, but with a train you could tow just about anything you want. "This? Oh, that's my commuter crawler crane. I unload it when I want to see the world go by slowly" :^D

There are probably a few dozen private railcars active that people actually do this with. They just pay Amtrak to hitch a ride on one of their trains from a terminal station. I've seen where owners have stored a few of their cars in the Chicago Amtrak yard.
