Meh. Fine with where I am and the path I chose. I'm just in all honestly glad to have rock solid stability right now and infinitely into the future.

I mean sure there are dream jobs.... Id say a pro-gamer being paid millions would be up there for me. But I understand the reality that asian people will always pwn me so that brings me back from my dreams.

Male pornstar paid tons? Also a wishful dream. Reality is they don't get paid jack shit (even the hot female ones).

Dolphin trainer @ Sea World
Brewmaster @ microbrewery
Cultural anthropoligst living with the tribes in the Amazon or Africa and writing research papers
I can echo the microbrewery part....

I ran into a brewery called "Taxman Brewing Co" I think they are out of Indiana....

Basically were people like me working Tax in Big 4. I think the brewmaster there told me he was from E&Y and got sick of it and just decided to pursue their passion for beer.... And they have some damn good ones.

Be a pharmacist. Good money and not have to deal with blood and body fluids.

Dream job? Be like Jacques Cousteau and go around the world to study the oceans and marine lives.

If I have a lot of money, I would go around developing countries and help them to solve problems with pollution in water and air, proper way to recycling, and so on.

SCUBA instructor would also have been awesome. Work in one place for like a year or year and a half and move somewhere else. Rinse and repeat. But you can't do that if you want to make any kind of money. That would be more for just diving and the life style.

Something in finance or accounting.
Learn how money works in the real world. Make more money.
Electronics did NOT work out for me.

Rather than being self-taught I would actually get a finance/finacial analysis type of degree. Then my options would be pretty wide open.

The guy who runs the Wells Fargo Advisors branch in my home town (only about 50,000 people but lots of old money) built a vacation house in Maui before he turned 50. As far as I know he got a generic finance degree, passed all of the necessary licensing exams, and started making big bucks pretty much right away.

I believe he's around 60 now and he's physically is the office maybe 50% of the time. The rest of the time he does whatever he wants.

I think pursue the airline pilot gig. I'd be retired in 5 months, mandatory 60.
A: Uh, retire at 60? Why?
B: I want to die calm and peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather. Not kicking and screaming like the passengers of his car.

It used to be a mandatory 60, but was increased to 65. My bad. I would have retired at 60 though it sounds like a great idea!
Statistically, we all lose a step when it comes to motor functions, and it is done in an effort to improve safety.

I had this conversation with my wife yesterday as we were driving down to Florida. I told her I wonder what would've happened if I went to Wharton and worked on Wall Street at some investment bank. I told her I probably be living in New York right now and wouldn't have married her since I wouldn't have met her.

I would if I could fly to Europe right now. Americans are barred and can't enter France and the rest of Europe atm.

I did buy her Hermes Bastia change purse about a week ago so she can store her loose change.

Probably electrician, and run my own business. The barrier to entry is very hard though, because of the math. You don't actually need lot of math for the job, but to get your certificate etc you do. I make good money now but I'm not exactly in a secure position. The company could shut us down or relocate the work down south at the drop of a hat. There will always be a need for trades people though.

Hand model. With all the newfangled smart watches and fitness trackers, the market is probably booming.

I changed my mind. I want to be a Thought Partner. I have no idea what that is but I just saw it on someone's list of professions and I want in.

Edit: I'm behind the times when it comes to self-promotion/corporate gobbledygook/snake oil. Thought Partners have been around since at least 2012.

Actually I could probably make it into modeling. Time for career change. :p If I don't get the job I'll just pull the discrimination card. We need more ginger guys in modeling!

Dream job was to be a pyrotechnician, but jobs are few and far between. I am good at what I do and the pay isnt too bad, so I'd stick with the same career path probably. One change though, is that I would have held on to my AMD stock longer. I bought it for like $2.50, and sold it for $4. Didnt have much, maybe 400 shares or so. Wish i would have hung on until Zen 2 for a nice payout.

I wish I had pursued my CS degree. I'd be way ahead of where I am now. I thought I'd find all the abstract 'typing' boring, but as I ran into those problems later in life I actually found all the logic involved really interesting.
