If you could change one thing about the state where you live.

Personally, i'd give Denver and the plains of our state to kansas, bring in cheyenne, and fire our governor.

oh, and i'd give pueblo to n. mexico.

I'd change the weather. Its too hot, and too humid in some places.

Trade you some snow for that weather.

6 months a year with snow can get a bit boring.

Maryland

The weather. It would get up to 70F in August, and a 40F average in winter, but with a month of snowy weather starting in late December.

Its too cold to go outside in winter. Too windy in spring. Too hot in the summer. Fall is ok...

i'd rather keep ours. it's snowing right now. i'd rather have summer highs in the low 80's and lows in the 40's at night then anything texas or arizona has to stomach.

Nuke Denver from orbit

only if it didn't do any damage to the front range, our new border with kansas. oh, and i do have friends in broomfield. so you may want the nuke to cut short of you.

Vancouver's weather with slightly less precipitation.

Actually, moving an ocean nearby would be nice.

Realistically...i dunno, too impossible to fathom.

Kansas.

Would get rid of all the religious nutjobs who think, among other things, that "intelligent design" should be taught in the science classroom.

I live in Washington state. I'd ax King County's voting privileges.

I'm from, and want to live in again, California. I'd cut it in half, right below San Jose, and make NorCal and SoCal different states. NorCal would have Silicon Valley and water to sell to SoCal to keep itself financed.

I'd agree with both of those statements.

What's with the hate on Denver? Have you ever been to the other 'popular' cities? Denver isn't NEAR as frustrating to get around in, and has everything you need.

That said, I'd get rid of the completely unpredictable fucking weather in CO. If it's 65° when I leave for school, I don't want to be walking back in a fucking blizzard wearing shorts. It's happened and I'm sick of it.

British Columbia (Vancouver).

I would change housing. Rent and housing prices are insanely expensive, at least by Canadian standards. I blame lax regulations and a glut of foreign business people buying up condos and living here only part-time.

Also, we need better social housing for our poor, mentally ill and homeless. The homeless situation in Vancouver is atrocious.

Do what everyone in the states does and send them to California.
