Battlebots.

Weren't there a whole lot of shows like that for a while? I can't remember the names of the others.

There was the original- Robot Wars. There was a legal battle, Robot Wars got the shaft and it popped up in England, and is thriving. That's kind of how Battlebots came about- all the builders needed a place to play. These were independern organizations before they were TV show. Exception: Robotica- mostly and objective based program with a final battle at the end. Died because it was boring, and nobody wanted to compete because the 'made for TV' atmosphere made it unenjoyable to participate in.

Well, it wasn't even my favorite show but I think I'd bring back Sliders because it had almost unlimited potential. Of course, after the Sci-Fi channel took it over it went completely down the crapper in the most painful way possible, but if you brought back the original cast and writers, I'd watch the series.

Edit: Quantum Leap was one of my favorite shows of all-time, but I think it ended while it was still a terrific series and I'd hate to see it brought back and not be as phenomenal.

I loved the first couple of seasons of Sliders but like you said, it slowly turned into a pile of donkey sh!t

Police Squad. 🙂

Kingdom Hospital, for a newer example.

I know quite a few people will suggest Seinfeld, but I think he quit at just the right time. Add another year or two, and I'll bet it would've worn out its welcome.

Kingdom Hospital is coming back June 24th, ABC signed a contract saying they had to air all episodes no matter what.

My vote would be that they bring back Andy Richter Controls the Universe, that show was awesome.

Smurfs, snorkels, TMNT, Transformers, just most of the cartoons from my childhood. I know there are a few remakes of them already but they're all pretty crappy.... oh yeah and Ghostbusters the cartoon.
