This would require a lot of thought, as every year there are at least two shows cancelled before their time. I'd rather see those than series that ran their course.

I know quite a few people will suggest Seinfeld, but I think he quit at just the right time. Add another year or two, and I'll bet it would've worn out its welcome.

You'll be happy to know they're currently filming a miniseres to wrap up all the loose ends left in the 4th season finale. But yes, I concur.

Aside from that:

Angel (just got into it 3 months ago, watched all 5 seasons in that time, then it ended)

Now and Again (not Here and Now)

Second for Northern Exposure.

Also, Millenium, Angel, The Prisoner, Star Trek: TOS, Miracles, Ben Stiller Show, Men Behaving Badly with first season cast. If given enough time I'm sure I could name 100 shows!
