I'm not sure when I bought my two Acer monitors that I have now, but I think it does fall in that time range. I'm going to guess you only qualify if you actually had issues though.

Been eating too many paint chips?? In the mid-late 90's gas was right at or under $1 a gallon. That would be 1-2 tanks of gas for a smaller car or a full tank for a good size SUV.

Seriously? It costs me $77 to fill up my truck, that's roughly 23 gallons, what car has a 20+ gallon tank? The 13 gallon tank in my mom's Eclipse is like... $45 to fill.

Bullshit. When I started driving 10 years ago, gas was $1.10/gal. Could easily fill up most cars for a $20.

I'm not sure who HP sourced for their consumer TFTs, but the HP business monitors and laptops I had from 2005/2006 usually had AU Optronics panels.
