do you go see peelers every night?

Is peelers some kind of crazy ass Canadian word for strippers? Because all I can picture are women with potato peelers stripping off their skin on stage, with strips of skin and blood flying everywhere.

It will if you do it right.

But I'd still work. Not the same job, mind you, and probably not as many hours, but I'd still work.

BTW, I'd blow the money faster than bradruth at my house.

Or I'd blow the money getting bradruth to my house. But he's a cheap whore, so it wouldn't cost that much. ;) :p

I didn't know it was strictly a Canadian term :p

What is the polite way for you to call an exotic dancer?

A stripper, a pole jockey (that could mean something else too...), a jiggly girl.... Ummm, I'm not much of a strip club kinda guy, maybe the straighter amongst us could help you out with more euphemisms.

Not a problem. I've heard them called peelers, exotic dancers, entertainment girls, etc. I'm not into strip clubs myself. I actually feel very uncomfortable being in that environment. But that's probably because I have too much respect for ladies and to me seeing a girl stripping to make money is just demeaning to me. I know not everyone shares that opinion.

Yes I would, not because I really need the money but I need to work to socialize and interact with people.
It gets boring sitting at home all the time.

I might work, but I'd be very picky about where I worked. Maybe I'd spend some time volunteering my time. It wouldn't take much to make me happier than my current job does.

I used to think that (good, left-wing, Canadian boy here) until I started drinking with a few strippers and massuses in the off hours.

It's not the women who are being demeaned. Or, if they are, they arn't the only ones.

This realization is what has kept me out of the peelers for 4 years.

Well, I would invest half of it in glorious mutual funds and give the rest of it to my friend, Sunil in Securities.

but seriously, i'd get the kind of job that's fun but i couldn't do because it doesn't pay enough. like i'd drive an 18 wheeler for a couple of weeks, then become a firefighter, then maybe work in a machine shop, then become a ski instructor, or something like that.

I would keep working at a nice mindless job. One that doesn't depend on me being there. I want to keep working just to maintain contact with the outside world.
