As far as women having all the rights.... it's really the child that has all the rights, and the family court system will almost always side on the maternal needs of the child - hence why it seems the man gets screwed. Child support is indeed leveraged in an unfair amount in too many instances.
If a 14 yr old child demands he wants to live with his father after divorce rather than the mother, will the court give him what he wants?
And if the court follows through on what the child wants, can the father start collecting child support from the mother's paycheck?
I don't have much knowledge on the US court system, but if indeed what you say about "the child has all the rights" is true, the above should happen as well, should it not?
