This conspiracy theory assumes FBI Director Comey completely missed said purported videos when the FBI reopened their investigation just before the election, that the prosecutors in Weiner's case also completely missed the videos and that the judge who threw the book at Weiner also overlooked those videos, all presumably bought off by Clinton.

The sad thing a person like Crokin can and does make a very lucrative living by being such a wingnut.

In support of what you said, I can honestly say that what you lose in aging you gain back in real life experiences (of the carnal variety), trial by fire wisdom and a better appreciation for what's left of what we have to offer each other. ;)

It's disgusting that any form of media would engage in slanted conjecture like this regardless of sources. The media ought to police themselves. The social media world has, however, radically changed things. Consumers have more direct control over what information they receive, and we select things which match our bias and validate our suppressed feelings.

If she knows the tapes are real, somebody tell her to release it. I mean, to know if it's real or not would require someone to have access to it so they could analyze it, right?

Otherwise, this reminds of me of the project Hunter S Thompson was said to be working on before his death (suicide).

Clearly feelings that are repressed are beyond immediate conscious access and would require both intention and understanding to address, so I see the problem as mechanical and beyond external intervention. In shout, I do not know how to apply the word should to a situation I know is sick, but to which a moral imperative can have no real effect. For me to use the word should would imply an expectation from moral outrage and I just don't see generating moral outrage from people who are emotionally dead. The best I can do is just to state again and again that all our problems are the result of mechanical sleep. You throw a pebble in the pond never knowing what the ripples will effect. But then again, your 'should' elicited this from me.

But you're spot on. My analysis implies conscious understanding and control of behavior which is unlikely to at least be completely true.

So I'm expressing both a personal virtue of society and a fantasy about its availability.
