No, I would probably allow myself to be 'drafted' and then commit acts of subversion once on the inside.

i would be openly gay. ;)

Don't know why, but that answer just made my Diet Pepsi come out my nose.

How much you guys wanna bet that with our court system the way it is (I live under the 9th Circus Court) the lawsuits would fly and the draft would be found unconstitutional?

Nope, the rabbit died . . . again. Clearly, I need more work to keep me away from home. Either that or there's a reason our cable service seems so much better.

I would glady go in service of my country, especially since my country voted to take on this war.

don't see a draft happening, however

Your country was sucker punched by a bunch of conniving lunatic frauds. It is your job as a citizen to do what is right, not what people are impassioned by fear to think, temporarily, is right. There is no honor, whatsoever, in being a brain dead sheep. The greatest number of voices is often just the loudest noises. But if you believe that bill of goods, fine.

Me? Not at this point in my life...more knowledge...that's what you young ones are for, naive and to protect me. When I was 18-25..most likly i would have just gone with gusto! Might as well make the best of a bad situation.

Mine? It's thier life, I'd let them choose whatever road they wish.

Well, if you want to aviod a draft, you may have to come up with something a lot better than that. Look who they got as commander in chief.
