My trusty old conserva-filter and extrapolater has determined that an feudalistic oligarchy that is heavily influenced by religious fundamentalism and racial purists will rely on waging wars to keep the economy afloat.

The future of the new Empire will then depend on how long the subjugated masses can tolerate their lives being controlled and determined by financial lineage, religious affiliation, race, nepotism and corporate priorities.

I think only items 4 and 7 would happen as a result of your thread title.

The rest will happen regardless. Democrats and Republicans are both heavily influenced by big money. Dems incorporate their corporate friendly laws under the guise of social welfare, Repubs under small government. Both will have the same result in the next 50 years. Same march, different tune. It's the social issues that really separate the two, not the fiscal or economic issues. Neither party will do anything that really alters where the wealth is held in this country.

This, exactly!

Pretty much this, not that isn't there all ready.

It would just take the whole country more that way though.

So OP you have no confidence in the Democrats to be an opposition party? Seems like you have a low opinion of your own party--unless you are an independent.

One thing for sure. We'd be fully inline with middle eastern philosophy.
And the terrorist mindset, which would be a necessity to accomplish the items on the list.

Dude if Trump is elected you'll get Taco Bell replaced with Auschwitz America where they make burgers from minorities. Remember:

1. Mexicans are bringing crime, they're bringing drugs.
2. We have a big problem in this country, it's called Muslims. When can we get rid of them?
3. We're not going to be nice like oh can you please leave?
4. We're going to deport anchor babies as the 14th amendment is unconstitutional!

With people like these in power and their gestapo fox news making everyone say seig heil.. would you want to be an opposition party?

You also forgot.

1. When a woman has a strong opinion; "You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever. In my opinion, she was off base."

We would have the same result whether Democrats or Republicans ran this country, the two parties are two sides of the same coin. The real power lies with Congress anyways, and they can serve for life. A person like Ted Kennedy influenced Presidents for 40+ years and he was one man, and was known to get his way on plenty of issues during his time. Multiply that by 100 and its apparent Congress is where the real power lies. The President is just the figurehead.

Hes already starting to tone his message down and im sure come election time he will sound far more moderate by then. As far as point 1 goes, we have no clue who illegal aliens are so he has every right to make illegal immigration a big issue [because it IS a big issue]. He didnt have to throw in the word Mexican but everyone knows he meant illegal alien and not a American born Mexican. It shows how far down the river this country is, when its a war to even get people to admit that illegal immigration is a issue OR that some of them can be violent [/facepalm]. Points 2, 3 are irrelevnt. Point 4 wont happen since they are citizens once they are birthed here, but again, birth right citizenship is absolute bullshit and anyone with sense knows it. Its just a prop used today to make it reallllly difficult to deport the illegal alien parents [hence the term ANCHOR baby].

People are like elephants. They have very long memories especially when crossed. Moderating/ toning the message down will do nothing.

If the United States government were run by Republicans for the next 50 years...the middle class will no longer exist and the top 1-5% of the populace would own almost all the wealth. Also, the nation would resemble a Christian version of Iran governed under Christian Sharia law. The nation would basically be "Jesusland" or "Jesusistan" (which is ironic, since Jesus would probably be sickened at the sight of a Republican-run America).

I'm voting some combination of Pakistan and Putin's Russia.

If by dems? The UK, maybe Germany, but less organised and way more weed.

I just see unhappy extreme leftys and unhappy extreme rightys. Republicans aren't for most of the crap that the Tea Party and Rush Limbaugh (who is a moron) wants. They are far closer to Southern Dems than anything. Getting co-opted by Rush and then Tea Party as made most of the Republican party skittish to say or do anything worth a crap.

Obama Dems are just as bad as Tea Party fucktards and Ditto Heads in my worthless opinion. Either way we're mostly fucked...

It shows how far down the river this country is, when its a war to even get people to admit that illegal immigration is a issue OR that some of them can be violent [/facepalm].

The "issue" here is that illegal immigration is NOT an issue of epic proportions and not the *main* reason for lost jobs and a poor economy. It's *one* issue, but not a #1 priority when corporates at the same time can legally outsource entire branches to India or manufacture in Mexico.

The issue is that Trump makes it (intentionally) sound as if illegals are the main reason for whatever problems America has and that he THINKS that idiocy like building a wall etc. would lead to a paradise with jobs and everyone happy..WITHOUT ACTUALLY ADDRESSING FAR MORE SIGNIFICANT PROBLEMS...and if he does it (topic off-shoring etc.) he only makes vague statements, is not clear about it or doesn't have any proposals at all...or uses empty word shells like "Make America Great Again" with subtle racist/semi-racist implications.

He is intentionally riding the racism & "bad Mexican" train and (currently) makes it its main priority because those are emotional topics resonating with lower educated people, potential voters. "Mexican rapists and criminals" my ass....

You're fooled either intentionally or by a total idiot...go buy his clothes and check the label where they're made...to get a HINT of this hypocrisy here.

Go build a wall and deport ALL of the illegals (if that would be possible, just assuming for sake of debate here) and then see what actual result this has on the economy. NONE, whatsoever on a greater scale. Jose is NOT the reason for, say, what happened to Detroit. He plays a minor, almost insignificant role.

No gay marriage - Congress cannot stop gay marriage without a Constitutional Amendment. That's not going to happen. #4: Again, that pesky Constitution. I would think that with a growing non-religious population in this country, there would be plenty of legal challenges which would overturn many such laws.

Not entirely true; Congress may pass a law that says "no gay marriage is allowed in the US" and make it apply to all states...and unless a federal judge were to grant a stay against it, it'd be in effect. It would then have to go up through the courts. Sadly, there's no duty on Congress to ask the question "is this legal?" - it's up to the courts to react...and they can only react when someone who has standing (read, who has lost their rights) goes to court.
