If the terminator killed Sarah Connor... what would it do after?

According to the theory of time travel, the Terminator couldn't ever have actually killed Sarah Connor. If she was dead, he would have no reason to go back into time to kill her, thus eliminating the entire premise.

Terminator would shit all over Predator. Regular Arnold killed that ugly mother fucker, imagine robot killing machine Arnold.

You're too smart to know that isn't true. Robot killing machine Arnold got killed by a waitress. Human Arnold only killed Predator because he was a highly trained killing machine, and only after Predator had already dusted 5 other highly trained human killing machines.

Terminator is a joke because the only way it can defeat a nerdy human hiding behind a wall, is to go back in time and try to kill that human's waitress mom, or even that kid version of the future nerd.

and it always fails.

Hundreds upon hundreds of terminators get killed regularly by starving, weak, poorly-trained survivor humans.

Predator is a trained hunter. Terminator is a mindless machine that knows only to kill, not how to kill.

The terminator only fails because he is destined to fail. He has to, as explained above by time travel. If he succeeds, he knows he will cease to exist. And, as an AI programmed for self preservation, he must fail to live on. It is beneficial to SkyNet for the terminator to fail. And, if we are just going by who killed what, Alien should have zero chance against Predator, as a lowly (albeit hot) operator on a mining vessel killed his ass. Hercules in New York, on the other hand, is unbeatable!

the thought problem that you proposed only explains why time travel is not possible; not the fate of Terminator.

:colbert:

Well, as you know, Predator claims many an Alien skull in his trophy room, as it is Predator's primary prey. Of course they have zero chance against Predator.

Yes, Hercules (the dubbed version) is invincible. Well, maybe Herbie could best him...

We have to assume time travel is possible, as it happened in Terminator and Terminator 2. The theory doesn't disprove time travel, merely that you cannot change the reason that caused you to travel through time, as then in the future, you'd have no reason to travel back.

Don't forget that Predator had that cool rocket launcher. I bet that would take out a Terminator. Just hide cloaked until you're behind Arnold in his glory days, and BOOM. No more Terminator.
