Say someone pushed u out of the way of a car or rescued you from a fire, how far would you go to repay your gratitude?

I'd run away and act like it never happened to avoid repaying them :p

Seriously, I don't know. I'd probably build them a really nice computer or just give them mine.

Say thank you and that is all.

lol, that is all, seems a bit meager to me
Look at it from the other side. If I were to save someone's life all I would want in return is a thank you.

I'd say, "Why the hell did you do that, I was just about to <insert situation here such as:> run out of the way of that car, get out of the burning building, or roll that car off of my chest by myself.....I hope you don't expect anything me, you should mind your own business".

Actually I would be extremely grateful and do something special for them depending on their financial situation/needs/wants

4 years ago I had a fire in my apartment. If my girlfriend wouldn't have woke me up I'd have been a crispy critter. I ended up marrying her. Now I pay for her saving my life everyday:p

you become best friends and don't get angry when the person's 14 yr old son starts dating your daughter.

I believe in the honor system of repayment of a good deed for a good deed, aka saving ones life. Some don't want you to repay them and if they said that they didn't need the favor repaid, then I am not in their debt, but if they do not release me from that, I am indebted to them to save their life at least once to repay the debt.

Yeah... it would be hilarious if they died of alcohol poisoning and you didn't save their life... but then again, a dead man can't ask for a favor so I guess it's a win-win situation here.
