If it's any consolation, I find this happens principally in two cases: Internet arguments and political arguments. So here it's the worst.

The problem is that people cannot think for themselves. They are trained by the tube from birth to think like a slave. They are placed in an educational system that further enforces that mindset.

So by the time they are an adult, they cannot tell an idea that is good and true and right from an idea that was generated deep in the bowels of some think tank, funded by people who make their money by selling people into making bad decisions. Think big shiny rims, gold chains, bacon, and cash advance shops on every corner. Just stupid crap. But people love bacon! It's so bad, but people love it. That's what I mean about people not being able to think.

Wrong. People mention things they ultimately don't care about all the time.

When I say I'm not going to shut up about things like this I'm pointing out that the disapproval of others will have no impact on whether or not I talk about it.
