I know I'm such a liberal shill, giving GOP props when they manage to do something right.... says two of the people I'm talking about.

Cubby, too. I don't agree with him, much, if at all. When dank69 and I are in agreement on something political in nature, you know it has to be right.
Unless that thing happens to be bashing a party a person thinks is wrong, of course. Then the person should not do what they think is right, but instead do what you think is right.
Do I understand your position correctly?
zsdersw, haven't you posted pretty much this exact same idea multiple times including fairly recently?
Yes it would be nice if people weren't blind partisan hacks, but how does this help?

No, you do not.
When something is wrong it should be mentioned as such. It would be much less tiresome, though, if such criticisms didn't always come from the opposing "team" and, instead, came from within once in a while.
Not at all. Just because you're ideological opposites doesn't mean you both can't be wrong about something you agree on.
When you start saying everyone is wrong but you, you need to look closer at yourself.
First you say you "think everyone should do what you think is right" and then you complain that when people actuall do what they think is right, but you feel that "something is wrong" then you say they should not do it.
It appears you just want to be able to complain about what people do.
You some Kumbaya stuff going on there in the beginning.
Never said everyone is wrong, just said you two are.
Just everyone who does not act as you demand they act. I understand.
Do away with all political parties, come together as the human race, and focus on humanity instead of their own greed and quest for power.
Never said or implied that, either. Read what's there.. not what you think is there.
So then why do you whine so much when someone does something other than what you demand they do? You "say" people should do what they think is right. Then when they do it, you whine about it if it does not meet what you personally feel is right, complaining that they should not do it.
Should people do what they think is right, or should they do what YOU think is right? Which is it?
No, you do not.

But no... that's not what we have on P&N. Here (and elsewhere, but I'm focusing on here) it's only Democrats/liberals who criticize Republicans/conservatives or Republicans/conservatives who criticize Democrats/liberals. Democrats/liberals never criticize each other and Republicans/conservatives never criticize each other... even when something they consider wrong was done by someone on their own "team".
I don't ask that this stop, as it's not in my purview to do so... but I do reserve the right to criticize such party/ideology-above-all-else actions once in a while. And I don't particularly care if anyone likes or doesn't like that criticism.
Then your problem is with dishonesty. People saying they stand for what is right, when in reality they only apply that standard to that team.
Shrug. The problem is human nature.
I agree.
I don't ultimately care if they do or don't do the things I think would be nice. Doesn't mean I'm going to shut up about it, though.
