People are obsessed with the appearances of everyone. I have a study group composed of friendly/polite and moderately-conservative Mormons and one Muslim and even in the brief time I spend with them doing non-school stuff (walking to class) I can hardly go without someone remarking on the coloring in a person's hair or someone's weight or how much skin a girl shows in her outfit. I srsly don't get it.

Like, I remember there was this really cute and nice Asian girl once in one of my classes but when she said she tried to figure out her final grade for the lab portion of the class and just two days after the final the results weren't back yet, she rolled her eyes and was like "Yeah, he's clearly just lazy". Got instant chills down my spine.
