$3/gallon is only 10-15% higher than current gas prices, I don't think that extra 10% is going to make a huge difference.

if you say that, then when it's $3.30, it'll only be 10% more than $3. Eventually it'll make a difference. Like what someone else said, I'm already trying to cut back. I only drive to work and back. Walk across the street to the grocery store, walk 2 blocks to the gym. Gas is already about $2.80 in some LA gas stations, $3 will be here soon.

Amazing how much the cost of living has gone up in the last 3 years here in OC.

I've been looking into solar energy too, trying to prepare some for the future.

Interesting. Sounds cool.

I traded in a 1995 Pontiac Firebird Formula for a 2005 Honda Civic 2 DR SE on 07-06-05. Problem solved. I still haven't put any gas in the Honda...

My workplace is about a mile away, and that's usually the only time I'm driving my car. Needless to say a full tank lasts me a long time :)

no.
gas at $3.00 a gallon is still WAY cheaper than what other countries pay.

VeggieFrog and Neosenate pay almost $7.00 a gallon in the UK. That to me is expensive.

Nope. I drive around just for the hell of it probably about ~10 hours a week. And the cars I drive are not light on the gas.

No. My commute is only .5 mile long. I was told that such a short drive is actually bad for my car though... wtf.
