Poodles are known for intelligence.

Border collies are usually at the top of the most intelligent dog breed lists.
Here's one list.

1 Border Collie
2 Poodle
3 German Shepherd
4 Golden Retriever
5 Doberman Pinscher
6 Shetland Sheepdog
7 Labrador Retriever
8 Papillon
9 Rottweiler
10 Australian Cattle Dog

Now if you look around, you can certainly find a stupid version of any of these..

Haha, I'm a nerd because I thought the exact same thing.

Same here..

lawl. ATOT ftw

Imo i never saw Ants as stupid. I thought they were pretty damned smart.

Anyways I think it would depend. I've seen some REALLLLY smart dogs, but I've also seen fucking stupid dogs (read: almost every single Maltese I've ever come acrosS)

well, at least dogs exhibit the ability to learn, which shows some level of intelligence. But of course, some of the greatest thinkers of our time have been cats.

I'm going to stay out of this one. I can't stand most dogs, so my opinion is inherently biased.

Dolphins, not whales.

So, mice are like, 15 then. ;)

Bastard, I'd thought about putting mice in as well.
Then again, they don't really count as they're only projections into our dimension. :p

I have a dog that's considered to be very smart and yet somehow she keeps going over to the cats and getting slapped upside the head. IMO, they both can act very dumb.
