If a fairly well-known ATOT'er needed a place to stay...

Say someone you knew pretty well on AT, or had talked to on AIM or had talked to on the phone a bit, or whatever, needed a place to stay in your town. Would you pick them up from the airport? Would you let them crash at your place for a night?

Just curious. Personally, if I were comfortable with the person, I would let them. <shrug>

I would for sure, and I would buy booze and weed too!

Probably,

Several years ago a few people I only knew from IRC flew to Chicago from New York to go to a Milwaukee Metalfest, and I picked them up at the airport and carpooled with them and another buddy. I let them crash in my living room.

It really depends on the person though.

Considering what I have seen most of you people post, I would be uneasy with you being in the same city as me.

I could name a few people on this forum that I would not, but for the most part, I trust most of the people on this board.

Oh yea, I would say NO if the person put their wallet in their front pocket. 🙂

id take into consideration heatware, post count, and pwnage (how many times they have been pwned, selfpwned, or pwned someone else)..to determine the quality and quantity of lodgings....

besides what better situation than to get them drunk use permanent marker and post thread/pics

hilarity would ensue

LOL, take a picture of them passed out drunk and scribble things like "REPOST" on their forehead.
