If any of the gals on here were in the Detroit area, i would of coure offer them a place :)

Unlike you, I wouldn't gender discriminate. So any of you hot ladies that want to take a gallop on the yowolabi horse.... I mean sleep on my couch... it's available.

If you were in MY shoes, would you allow a random male from a huge internet forum to spend the night at your house with you and your husband?! Hmmm??? :D

Depends on your definition of huge

i'd have no problem letting someone stay over my place as long as i knew the person was sane and clean. i wouldn't however, pick them up from the airport (LAX). just remember i'm not your mama, so save the drama for her and clean up after yourself. you do that, and you're welcome to stay for the week.

Yessir, I would. But, like you said, only for ATers that I knew fairly well. I can count the number I would let crash at my place on one hand.

EDIT:
The rest of you make me nervous.

For sure!
I have met many at members and they are all pretty normal. I am pretty sure that i even met a mod. I did envy his computer setup....

Just curious. Personally, if I were comfortable with the person, I would let them. <shrug>

Heh... if I didn't find that motel near Wrigleyville last year, I wouldve asked you... or maybe I did... dont remember, it was moot anyway ;)

I have to be honest, I didn't expect this many people to be willing to house semi-strangers. It's actually pretty cool. :)

There's websites (www.couchsurfing.com) dedicated to poeple travelling on the cheap by sleeping on each other's couches/spare beds whatever.

Since I really don't know any of you that well, probably not, BUT, given the conditions listed in the OP, (know a little, IM, phone conversations, etc) then maybe...I've let a few people I know from the aquarium hobby spend the night a few times...some I'd never met in person, (but friends said were good people). Yopu gotta bring your own earplugs however...I SNORE big-time!

I'd let Rossman stay over, but he'd have to hook me up with some awesome deals.

Yea, if I knew the person on ATOT and considered them a buddy, then sure, why not.

Sweet, can I stay at your place this weekend Little Dave? ;)
